As the owner and the lead travel advisor behind JoAnne Michaud, Dream Vacations, I work closely with my clients to create customized journeys that reflect who they are, how they love to travel, and what they want to experience along the way.
I specialize in tailored worldwide leisure travel, including luxury and small-ship cruises, expedition travel, African safaris, river cruises, and complex multi-destination itineraries throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, the South Pacific and beyond.
For me, planning travel is about much more than making reservations. It is about finding the special hotel in the perfect location, the knowledgeable local guide who can provide a deeper connection to a destination, the unforgettable experience that wasn't on the original wish list, and the little details that make a journey feel special and effortless.
I take the time to listen, ask questions and get to know my clients so I can design travel that feels uniquely theirs. I also believe that firsthand knowledge matters, which is why I continually explore destinations, experience properties and travel products, and build relationships with trusted partners around the world.
